Character Description

Asher is tall and slender, built like the perfect Roman god statue. His long wavy hair glitters like actual metallic gold. His eyes are a light/bright blue - like a husky's. (BO?) He is extremely beautiful, but half of his face and body is marred by ugly holy water burn scars.

Character Factoids

• In BO we learn that he and Jean-Claude were made by the same vampire, however this is a YAABI because in CS we learn that Jean-Claude was made by a vampire named Lissette while Asher was made by Belle Morte herself. (page#'s? for ref)
• He had been sent by Belle to 'check' Jean-Claude out, when his maker, Lissette, appealed to Belle to assist her beautiful 'child'. (CS/ID?or DM?)
• He was originally jealous that Jean-Claude was to be his replacement in Belle's bed. (CS/ID?DM?)
• Along with Jean-Claude, he used to be one of Belle's favorite 'playthings'. Jean-Claude had the darkest blue eyes and Asher had the palest. (ID)

• When Asher comes to St. Louis in BO, it is to take his revenge on Jean-Claude. He had requested Anita's life from the Council, but his request was denied.

• He becomes Anita's lover in CS. This is done partly to prevent Mussette from claiming him as her lover for a night.
• He's circumcised, as a result of surgery to remove scar tissue. This has enabled him to be fully 'functional'. (CS)

• He's the first vampire to well and truly 'roll' Anita. Her resistance to the vampire's mesmerizing gaze seems to be less strong against him. (CS)
• He almost kills Anita at the end of DM when he takes too much blood during sex. This gaff is later attributed to a power gain, an after-effect of which, though, is that he finally gains an animal to call - Hyenas.
