There are several tests to discover necromancy in a person, most of them are of a Vaudun nature.

Though it can be discovered at an early age, it usually doesn't emerge until the mid-twenties.

Necromancers are always animators. They have an intense affinity with the dead - all dead.

The Vampire Council had issued a decree that all necromancers were to be killed immediately when discovered. This has been in effect for many centuries.

Powers

Necromancers are thought to work best at night, when their power is not interrupted by whatever takes a Vampire's soul at dawn.

• The ability to "feel" the dead's presence
• The ability to tell how old a corpse is (this can sometimes also be applied to vampires)
