Noted YAABI's
A YAABI is a colloquial term for 'Yet Another Anita Blake Inconsistency'. These are places in the books where LKH appears to contradict or change what she has previously stated about a situation or character.

Just finished BN, was glad to see that it wasn't as inconsistant and TH, but I did notice that Anita's sister was now called Adriana instead of Andrea. Anyone else notice this? Afraid I didn't get a page number...

In Blood Noir Gretchen real name is mentioned as Greta. But in the books before that it was always Gretel.

Am I totally crazy? I cant find my copy of Danse Macabre at the moment but wasn't the couch Anita and Asher had sex on at Danse Macabre not Guilty pleasures as stated in the Harlequinn?

In Circus of the Damned, the night that Anita meets Larry, her car is destroyed. The next day she drives her car to meet Inger, she states a few times that it is HER car. Then after this she makes clear that her car IS wrecked. Even if she did some how call for a rental car in her sleep and meet Inger in that, she states (at the same time that she states her car is wreaked and has not yet been looked at) that there hadn't been time to rent a car so Larry was driving... i own the paperback with the female figure with a snake over her, i was wondering if they had some how fixed this in later versions, though i can't see how any other way would not change the storyline a bit.

In CS Anita says that last time the wererats she killed 1 of them and injured another last time they helped her. Really she killed 2 wererats, Igor and Cris, and Claudia was the injured.
