Some ideas on site promotion
Nov 13 2007, 12:00 PM EST I found these suggestions on Wetpaint's Wetpaint Central site super helpful in growing my site. They are super easy and have a huge impact! Nov 13 2007, 11:16 PM EST Actually, I have checked out many of the tips on Wetpaint Central and applied many of them to the AnitaWiki site! For example the importance of using Keywords and tags. I'm sure that we could do more to 'pump it up' even more. According to Sitemeter statistics we are getting many Google sourced hits and a number from Yahoo Search as well. Suggestions to further enhance these hits from an experienced Wiki creator are welcome. Do you find this valuable? |

I'm sure that we could do more to 'pump it up' even more.I did one small change that I think will be really helpful. I renamed 'the books' to 'anita blake books' for search engines. When users search on books for Anita they likely search for precisely that 'anita blake books' and not just 'books' - having the page name match the search term is hugely important I found. i also added a link from my James Bond Wiki Site.
